Trust Scan

Modified on Wed, 20 Dec 2023 at 02:45 PM

The biggest concern in the forwarding business is working with reliable companies, especially when it comes to partnerships between agents worldwide. With that in mind, Parnity has developed the Trust Scan, which brings more confidence to our members when choosing a new partner to work with.

The Trust Scan is a space in the public profile where you are able to check the verified details about each member, such as, logistics certifications, financial tracking and engagement info, in order for you to evaluate them more deeply, and to help you make a decision based on verified criteria. This is the space where forwarders show other companies that they are a qualified partner to work with.

How does the Trust Scan work?

Before becoming a Parnity member, forwarders must submit their companies for validation with incorporation documents for us to evaluate, and if they are approved they will have the membership activated and information shared on the Trust Scan. Along with that, the companies' logistics certifications can also be added to the Trust Scan once our system checks its veracity in official channels. The financial records of the forwarders are also checked by our system in warning lists, and shown in the profile. Last but not least, in the Trust Scan, you will also see Parnity's community indicators and usage, to help you understand the agent's commitment.

Basically, the Trust Scan intends to help forwarders inside Parnity to analyze potential new partners based on verified criteria, and have more success within the partnerships built.

What information can be found in the Trust Scan?

Certifications

Forwarders can upload their logistics certifications inside Parnity in order to show on the Trust Scan and gain more reliability with other agents. Our system will validate all certificates within the organization that expedited it, and in a positive case, Parnity will allow it to show on the Trust Scan. You will be able to see the certificate number in the companies' profiles. Below are the certifications that can be uploaded to the profile:

  • IATA: IATA accreditation, available for travel agents and cargo agents, simplifies the business relationship between agents and airlines, and gives airlines access to a worldwide network of reliably certified and recognized agents.

  • AEO: Authorized Economic Operator is a certification granted by each country, in accordance with WCO, to companies whose management processes minimize the risks that exist in their foreign trade operations and that demonstrate that they are committed to the criteria of Customs Conformity and Security of the Logistic Chain.

  • D-U-N-S: The D-U-N-S Number is a unique nine-digit identifier for businesses. It is used to establish a D&B business credit file, which is often referenced by lenders and potential business partners to help predict the reliability and/or financial stability of the company in question.

  • BASC: Business Alliance for Secure Commerce certificates are issued under a consecutive number and special security paper that identifies its authenticity and validation. BASC certified companies are identified with their own designated code that entitles them for meeting the requirements and compliance of the BASC Security and Control Management system

Financial Tracking

As financial issues are a huge concern in the freight forwarding industry, Parnity constantly monitors the network to help the members analyze some aspects. Having them available in the Trust Scan are a positive indicator.

  • Warning List Free: This agent has not been listed as a debtor in any of the warning lists checked by our system, such as FDRS.
  • Payment Issues Free: This company had no payment issues reported by other members over the last 3 months.
  • Shield Protection Added: This member is a Parnity Shield subscriber, which indicates they care about protecting their business.

Where can I see the other companies' Trust Scan? ?

Whenever you access a Member Profile, you can easily find and analyze the Trust Scan on the left hand side:

How can I add my certifications to the Trust Scan?

  1. Click on "MyCompany" on the left-hand side bar;

  2. Then click on "Edit profile" and "Certifications";

  3. On the certification that you want to add, click on the + button;

  4. Insert the details required and attach the certificate then click on "Save";

  5. Confirm that you see the success message on the top right-hand corner;

  6. After the submission, you'll see the status change to "In Approval" and once validated, "Active".

What happens after I submit my certificate? ?

You just have to wait for a few days to have your certificate validated. After the analysis, you will be notified about the approval, and your certificate information will already be available on your profile and the certificate status will update from "In Approval" to "Active". If we're not able to validate your certificate, you will be notified as well, and our support team will contact you to confirm all the information.
