We know how important management tools are inside an organization, so we developed a management tool that works separated from our community side.
We understand that you, freight forwarder, have several partners across the world and that you have met them through several different means and in different time frames. That's why we created MyPartners, allowing you to have the information of all these partners that you have been working with all this time, gathered in a single place.
How can I have my own network of partners in my Parnity account?
You have 3 ways of adding partners to your MyPartners, I'm going to explain each one of them, and teach you how to work with each one:
1. Upload a list with all of your partners' info at once
This is the most recommended way for adding partners for the first time. And I say that because I know one can have hundreds of forwarder partners, and uploading a list with all of them at once will make the job easier.
For that, you will need to prepare a spreadsheet and fill it out with the information required by our system.
The data can be exported from another system that keeps your partners' info
The data can be exported from another spreadsheet that you have been using to store partners' info.
The data can be manually exported from an email inbox where you have the info stored at
Using an existing file (from system or spreadsheet)
If you have a system to export it from or another spreadsheet that contains partnerships' data, you must only keep 4 columns with the information our system requires:
Company name | Country | Key contact name | Key contact email |
example comp 1 | Brazil | Ana
example comp 2 | Nigeria | John
example comp 3 | Bolivia | Pablo |
Creating a new file (from email or notebook)
If the information is in an email inbox, notebook, someone's personal contact list, etc, you must create a new spreadsheet, collect the 4 information our system requires, and fill it out:
Company name | Country | Key contact name | Key contact email |
example comp 1 | Brazil | Ana
example comp 2 | Nigeria | John
|
|
|
|
Important information to keep in mind when uploading your partners' list
To upload the file, it must be in . CSV format
All 4 columns are mandatory
To be successfully uploaded, the four columns must be completely filled out, meaning that if you leave one of the cells blank, this partner won't be added
The countries' names have to be according to ISO-3166 standard format. Click here to check the list
2. Add one partner at a time
Adding one partner at a time is more recommended for when you have already uploaded your list before and now just need to add a few others, so it makes it more simple and faster than working on the spreadsheet again. If it's your first time adding partners but you just have a few partners, this shall be a good option for you too. The system will ask you for 4 information:
Partner name
Country
Contact Name
Contact Email

3. Search in Parnity's database
This one is frequently used when you already have the partner company name and location by heart. If the company already has a profile in Parnity, you can search by their name and their country of location and add them directly from our database, then you don't need to add their information manually. You will get their public profile information, and if your key contact person is not listed in there, you can easily add them later.
Enter the company name
Select the country this company is located at
Click on "Search"
Confirm if the result shown is really the partner you are looking for, and add click on "Add to MyPartners"
If the search comes out with no results, you will be given the option of adding it manually
