Main reasons why requests are not quoted
1. Target price
If you have set it, be sure that it is something possible to achieve, otherwise, the agents may not even get interested in quoting.
2. Commodity
Be aware of the specificity of the commodity to be transported, if it's something that involves complexity, it is recommended to keep it open for a longer time.
3. Request Details
Always try to give as much information as possible about what you need, the greater the chances of interest when a quote can be made based on more information.
4. Location
If it is a location with a smaller number of agents or more difficult logistics, it is ideal to keep the request open for a longer time.
Tips to get more quotes faster
Give the proper details for the Incoterm of your operation
Explain the scope of service you need in the target location
Send all the specificities of the commodity in the notes field, eg. required codes.
Some countries require additional information about the cargo, eg. cargo value, size, weight, etc.
