The process of closing a deal with another agent involves some steps and can sometimes be a bit long, that's why the business timeline was created, to help you easily keep track of the steps of your quotation process.
What are the stages on the Business Timeline?
When requesting a quote
-Business Created
In this step, you will be able to see when the request was created, and by whom and check the request details
-Quotes received
All of the quotes received for this request and all the details for each, highlighting the agent that quote, price of the quote, and date sent. In this step, you will need to select the quote you are following to let the agents know if you are moving forward with them and feedback will be asked.
-Quote selected
This is the step where the selected quote will be easily visible with the name of the agent that quoted, along with the date and reason for the selection
-Final feedback
This is when you confirm that the business is being concluded and you're either moving for the operation of the business or if it was lost.
When quoting a request
-Business created
In this step, you will be able to see when the request was created, and by whom and check the request details
-Business assigned
Here you can see when this request was assigned to you or someone from your team and who is the person assigned to it
-Quote sent
This step has two statuses. First one is pending, where you will see the deadline for sending the quote, and where you'll send the quote. The second status will be after the quote was sent indicated by the green dot followed by the date the quote was sent
-Quote selected
This step will indicate if the request owner is moving forward with your quote to compose their costs and get their client's approval. If your quote is the one selected, you will see a green dot and the reason why your quote was selected. In case your quote was not the selected one, you will see the status declined and the reason why it was declined.
-Final feedback
If you had your quote selected, then you will finally get to this step where it's only pending the client's final decision to confirm if you are moving this cargo together. In case it's positive, you will be able to see the date when it was closed and the agent's contact details, and when it's negative, you will also be able to see why you have lost it.
